I have always loved stories.
Even before I knew how to read, I constantly made up very romantic and very bad stories in my head. For example, when I was 3 or 4, I thought up an idea for a play and recruited my next-door neighbor to be in it just so I could trick him into kissing me. My plan failed, but my persistence has certainly lasted.
Since then, stories have followed me everywhere. I entered college as a Communication major and published creative writing pieces in The Somerville Times, Muddy River Poetry Review, and Ibbetson Press. I ran my college radio station for nearly two years, and completed three writing-based internships. My work experiences have ranged in topic and theme, but have always offered significant opportunities for me to write and publish my work.
Post grad, I have continued pursuing my love of writing. I work at the entertainment website, Screen Rant, writing feature articles about movies and television series. My work is published almost daily. Additionally, I am working on my first novel.
When I’m not working on stories, I am usually consuming them. I love reading at my local library, going to the movies, or seeing a live show. And if I ever need a break from fantasy worlds, you’ll usually find me with my pets or loved ones.
